I have installed the game with Galaxy to try and indeed, the console doesn't open. If you have a way you could upload your old save somewhere (onedrive, google drive) and i try to load them on my Gk2 setup maybe? Hmmm that is strange the console doesn't show. THe only saved game(s) that show up in the SCUMMV drop-down list of saves is the newest one.ĪLso, when in-game I type Ctrl-D nothing happns at all. Even when I change the name extension to match the newst saved-game extsneion (from a game I saved after the "new" game started", they don't show up IN GAME when I try to restore a saved game. I transferred my older saves into the saved games folder, and they show up in the folder. I am using the latest GOG Galaxy version of GK2. Iw as just hoping to recall my saved games.doesnt look like that's possible with SCUMMV. I really don't feel like playing the entrie game again, though I do love it. I loved replaying certain areas of the game, loved the area in town where the guy was playing guitar on the sidewalk, etc etc. short of that,m I would be greatful if anyone had a bunch of saved games for GK 2 where the game is complete. Re-named myu old saved games for ZGI with the existing SCUMM nomenclature, and my old saves show up in the game when playing and resroting them. I followed the same process last night when I re-installed through GOG Galaxy the Zork:GI game. Can someone please help restore my old saves? PLaced them in the GOG GALAXY /GAMES/GK2/SAVES folder (something like that), renamed the old save games so they match the new nomenclature.but NONE of them show up in SCUMM when I choose to resore them when within the game. I went to my backup where I had all the old saves. I Hadn't played this game in a few years. ![]()
